A free day ...yipeeh

June 4th-Amaya is trying to crawl!!

Today we are trying to keep a routine..of course we are flexible!!

Like this am....

Her 1st nap in the am today ..we did while walking on the waterfront in her sling ..which she loves

thank you Uncle Brian and Nicole for the lend!!

We are also on baby time..yes..that mean up at 530am-6am..yikes

and bed by 8pm...giggle..actually beacuse she is sleeping through the night we are rested ..just changed the clock a bit

We are also feeding more..as she seems to want it...our bottles are only the 1/2size so..we feel alright when she wants a 2nd..she can never finish 2nd anyways

Today..after 3 days here we finally got to the beach...it's not the caribbean that for sure.. but the breeze is welcoming as is the park in front that allows for shady rest stops.It seems everyone takes taxis everywhere as even in a 1/2 hr ride it's only 3.00 cad..you get the picture..and with the A/C it makes it really to easy.Anyways we did walk today just because we wanted to be outside and enjoy the view and park.

We also have a favorite breakfast place..where we hang our hats in the am..full breakfast..2 eggs/bacon/hash brown/fried tomatoe/2 toast and butter and a piece of cheese for 50,000 dongs..yes the currency has a very funny name..that is $2.50.

The meals are so cheap that it really isn't necessary to have a full kitchen ..but we enjoy the odd salad/fridge for a beer(shady) for me which is cheaper than juice or pop..15,000 dongs=.80 cents..holly banana..one can really have a party here.

Of course we are in parent mode now.. so we decline..but who cares I certainly have already had my time....and many of you have shared in the good times..Now we are so excited about the parenthood journey that one beer here and there works .

Haven't tried any wine..not too sure if it is all that good here..Unless you go to a western restaurant where you can find decent glass.i HEARD Good Morning America ..which is italian fare does alright.we will try that later.

At the moment we are waiting for notary to authoriaze all our documents before we head to the canadain embassy for our passports monday.

it might be of interest to all of you that you are now required to bring YOUR BIRTH CERTFICATE AS WELL AS PASSPORT for issuing babies new passport.

We were only told the day before and with Marien being Dutch it could of been a problem..but luckily we had a long copied buried in a file

I will list a schedule in another email so others know approx what to expect once here.
